These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of BookVolley.com (the "Service," "we," "us"). By creating an account, booking a lesson, applying to coach, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you're creating an account or booking a lesson for a minor, you're agreeing on their behalf as their parent or legal guardian.
BookVolley is a scheduling platform that connects players and parents with independent volleyball coaches and, where applicable, the club facilities those coaches operate at. We help you find a coach, see their availability, and request or confirm a lesson time. We are not a party to the coaching relationship itself — coaches are independent professionals, not BookVolley employees or agents, and club directors independently manage their own facilities.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 18 to create an account; if you're under 18, a parent or guardian must create and manage the account on your behalf. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account.
Lesson requests, confirmations, and rates shown on a coach's page are set by that coach. BookVolley does not process or collect payment for lessons — any payment arrangement is made directly between you and the coach (or club), outside the Service. Cancellation policies, make-up lessons, and refunds are between you and the coach unless a coach has stated otherwise; BookVolley isn't responsible for resolving payment disputes between users, though we're happy to help facilitate communication if something goes wrong.
Applying to coach or to direct a club does not guarantee approval. We review applications and public profile pages at our discretion and may decline, remove, or request changes to an application or listing at any time, including after approval, if we believe it's necessary to protect the safety or integrity of the platform.

If you choose to connect a personal Google Calendar, you authorize BookVolley to read your free/busy time and create lesson events on that calendar as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect it at any time from your dashboard.
The Service is provided "as is." We don't guarantee a coach's availability, qualifications, or the outcome of any lesson, and we don't supervise lessons that take place off the platform. Physical activity carries inherent risk of injury — participation in any lesson booked through BookVolley is at your own risk.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BookVolley and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, or from the conduct of any coach, club, player, or parent, whether online or during an in-person lesson.
You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms or that we believe poses a risk to other users.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify users directly. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
